A series of clips shows a repeated Faux BS talking point about Scozzafava leaving the race to back their kind of wingnut. They continue with it for 2 days as if it's a real news story until they have to admit the truth which proves they were lying all along.

they clearly in their NEWS reports are portraying an inaccurate story line as a way to influence outcomes or decisions.

Clearly, their hope was if they trumpeted this idea long enough, Scozzafava might feel cowed into throwing support to her Conservative Party opponent. Instead, she does the worst of all worlds for Republicans. She pulls out of the race and overtly supports the Democrat and the insurgent pile of crap Hoffman loses.
