Wow. Pandemic is right! H1N1 Strikes Isolated Indigenous Group In Amazon
http://cbs11tv.com/health
Swine flu has appeared among Venezuela's Yanomami Indians, one of the largest isolated indigenous groups in the Amazon, and a doctor said Wednesday that the virus is suspected in seven deaths, including six infants. The deaths happened in forest villages near Venezuela's border with Brazil over the past 2 1/2 weeks, said Raidan Bernade, a Venezuelan doctor on a team sent to contain the outbreak and treat the ill.

3. they don't live under glass
isolated does not equal no contact (note that there is a medical team obviously "in contact")

5. Any visitor could have spread it
and since they are so isolated they probably don't have any kind of any immunity built up. And that makes it worst.
